When select multiple files (DC = Mark) is there a way to keep the text the color I want it?

What I want is to highlight the file names with the cursor color, which I can do, but the text turns WHITE instead of staying black.

I'd like selections to look like this: https://screenshots.firefox.com/ufkYQzJZkLKnJc7N/null

Thanks.

That doesn't work. Selection turn the text white, even though the text color is set to black.

I found another hard to understand behavior too. When selecting multiple files, then deselecting one of them, the selection cursor color does not change to the back ground color. This makes it hard to see selections vs non selected files in that same group.

e.g., In this image, the black text within the selected files is actually NOT selected.

Using windows file explorer and others, such as xplorer2, which follow Windows behaviors, the unselected files will use the background color to show that the file is actually not selected, see here:

But DC gets even stranger. If you want to Deselect two files in a group of Selected files, the second file to deselect will act like the normal Windows behavior in the second image I posted, but the next file will only change selection text color, while maintaining the cursor selection color.

I put a single red mark next to the first file that was deslected and a double red mark next to the second file that was deselected (from a group of selected files). Both files with the red dots next too them are DESELECTED. Now, this is really confusing.

This I so mystifying I think it deserves it's own thread. I'll post it in the bug section.
