0001700: Automatically selected text not working on operations

For example, when you press the F3 being in Viewer, the search box appears, but the previously used text in the input field is not selected automatically, and you have to always press Ctrl + A, before writing new text. The same thing happens when you create a new file or rename directories.

I found the reason what's affecting it. If in GNOME settings, you choose `Input Sources` under `Regional and Language`, and select `Allow different sources for each window` - this function in Double Commander just stops working.

Please fix it, it's really important to have it working and having different language input for different windows.

Please add new command which would behave similar to cm_CopyFullNamesToClip but include trailing path separator for directories.

Rationale:
- without trailing path separator you do not know if entry in clipboard refers to file or directory
- path with trailing path separator can be used directly when building full path e.g. in "Save as..." dialog: press Home to move cursor before filename, Ctrl-V to paste destination path, then Enter.

Dirctory Hotlis can remember toggle of options like case, accents, etc., but it won't remember setting of collapse/expand.

When I position the mouse cursor on any selectable text on a File Properties window (Alt+Enter on a file) and press the right mouse button to display the edit menu (which doesn't show up), the application just freezes, and I can only close it by killing its process.

This is the first issue I report. I wrote https://doublecmd.sourceforge.io/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4426 but I guess it's better to directly file issue here. I couldn't find an existing option.

If there are too many tabs, from what I see DC just scrolls (or uses multi-line tabs, what I don't want).
We can limit tab title length and that's helpful but it's manual and not automated solution and not practical.

For many tabs (I use 2x20 :) ) tab width should be narrowed and titles shortened with two period at the ane(example if 8 chars can fit: Directory Name -> Direct.. ).

On Windows 10 with "Exploit protection" enabled, DC throws Access Violation error when performing either "Quick View" or "View" commands. Interestingly, "Edit" (F4) works just fine.

0002437: After renaming one file with Multi Rename tool, file cursor moves to next file

If there is no files selected in a pane, and Multi Rename tool is invoked (Ctrl+M) after the file is renamed and dialog closed, the file cursor on that pane moves to next file. I think file cursor should stay where it was.

Similar thing happens when renaming multiple files, but sometimes file cursor goes one position up, and sometimes one position down. For now, I didn't got the pattern, that is when will move up or down.

If filename cannot be the last parameter, DC cannot add it correctly.

works fine with local file system: DC will replaced %p by selected filename and we will get command

But when we try to open file inside virtual file system (file inside archives, wfx-plugins and so on), then we will get command

i.e. fail. In this case DC should replace %p by filename too (also %pN, %f, %fN).

Если в редакторе выделить вертикальный блок текста (с нажатой клавишей Alt) то при замене по Ctrl-R при установленной галке "В выделенном тексте" происходит замена видимо как будто выделен обычный блок текста. То есть вертикальный выделенный блок игнорируется.

When scrolling text file in Viewer with mouse wheel and mouse pointer is placed over vertical scrollbar, both mouse wheel up and down actions cause scrolling in the same direction - upwards (except for the case when the document is in its very beginning)

Копируем файлы, например, из одного каталога в другой. И если один файл недоступен для перезаписи (например запущен EXE файл), то выводится окно с двумя кнопками "Прервать" и "Пропустить". Хочется увидеть кнопку "Повторить" для того, чтобы после устранения причины недоступности файла (например, закрыть открытый EXE файл) можно было перезаписать файл и продолжить копирование.

I have a lot of RAM. I noticed that if you copy large files (of the order of several gigabytes, which, nevertheless, fit in the cache in RAM) to a USB flash drive, at the moment when Double Commander enters the verify file mode, the flash drive access LED stops blinking. which means that the file is checked not from a flash drive but from the cache in RAM.

I use a mapped drive accessible only when VPN is running.
1) VPN not active - DC shows the drive button with red cross
2) VPN started - the drive becomes accessible but the red cross is still displayed
3) DC restarted - the drive button does not have the red cross (correct)
4) VPN stopped - the drive becomes inaccessible but the red cross does not appear
5) DC restarted - the drive button displayed the red cross (correct)

DC refuses to change the target drive, because the recent path for target drive is not accessible due to lack of permissions.

For example, when trying to change the target drive to "C:" DC refuses changing the target drive with next the message "Change current directory to 'C:\Users\Administrator' failed!".

I think that the correct behavior is switching to the target drive by trimming target path up to the root, until the next top level path will be accessible. For example DC could open path "C:\Users" instead of "C:\Users\Administrator".

Right-click a zip file, choose "Extract here", and click "OK".

Expected result: The original date of the unpacked file will be shown in the files panel.
Actual result: The current date will be shown in the files panel.

Only after pressing Ctrl+R, you'll get the expected result.

I pressed Ctrl+T to open a new tab after I had closed another. An Access violation window appeared instructing me to report the crash. I experienced it for the first time.

1. In Finder, select any file and press command-C.
2. In DC, in any directory, press command-V or control-V.

Expected result: The file will be pasted into the directory.
Actual result: Nothing happens.

Note: Copy & paste from one directory to another directory within DC does work.
