Summary0001343: File listing adjusts when Quick Search closes
DescriptionSomething that's been bugging me for quite some time:
When I use the Quick Search feature and the file listing is not at its "top" (not showing the topmost entry), clicking an entry in the list causes it to get adjusted in a rather unusual way, effectively moving the entry I just attempted to click/highlight out of the way and then highlights the entry above it instead.
Steps To Reproduce- enter a directory that contains more files than the file listing can display at a time, so you can scroll down a bit and still have some more files not displayed
- scroll down a bit so that the topmost entries disappear
- use the Quick Search feature to search for a file/directory (it can even be one that is displayed/visible then)
- click that file/directory to highlight it
- watch the list "scroll" one entry up and your click highlighting the wrong entry
Additional InformationIt shouldn't scroll at all when the Quick Search input box gets closed.

The issue should be easily reproducible. If you need further information or even a screenshot to explain the steps, just let me know.

It is Lazarus bug - http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=21918

So, if I understand this correctly, it's something you can't really fix yourself unless you wrote your own corresponding API from scratch - and we'll have to see if the Lazarus programmers fix theirs first before a new version of DC can be compiled with it that incorporates those fixes. Right?
