Summary | 0001925: Changing the brightness level of the inactive file panel doesn't affect the text color
Description | Perhaps it's the desired behavior, however it is still a bug since the text doesn't match the actual brightness operation. It should be the brightness of the entire panel including the text not just the background color. If there are historic reasons for this behavior a checkbox can be added to toggle the dimming of the text. I've highlighted the slider in a red rectangle as can be seen in the attached screenshot.

It's by design at this time. |

I don't fully understand why. Assuming it causes other artifacts I would suggest adding an OPTIONAL checkbox for dimming the text color as well. Once more, in terms of "Human factors and ergonomics" it would be better. Since I would have the ability to know which panel is inactive by only using my peripheral vision. |
