Description | When moving or copying or similar when the destination already has a file with the same name, DC offers to skip, overwrite, append, and some other options, but none of them allow for simply renaming the destination file. TC and similar tools also have an option to auto rename, where usually a number is appended to the filename, so that no file is overwritten. The functionality also works for folders. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Run DC 2. Make a copy of a file/folder into a folder (backup scenario) 3. Now or some other time try to copy the same file/folder to the same destination folder 4. Options are presented, none of which allows for keeping both copies of files/folders intact 5. Manual work is required... | ||||
