| Summary | 0001203: Search for text with 'Find files' with different encodings is not intuitive | ||||
| Description | The result of searching for text depends on the file encoding and the setting in the search dialog. Intuitiv I would expect the search will find any appearance of my searchtext. The file encoding should not matter. There should be a setting that find the search text in files of any encoding. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | - create a new file (Shift+F4) - enter a string that contains special characters like 'Priorität' - save this file as UTF8 and Ansi - open 'Find files' (Alt+F7) - search for the text 'Priorität' Only the file with the encoding that match the search setting will be found. | ||||
