Summary | 0000122: "Tab sets" for both panes
Description | I love tabs, and use them a little too much. After a while of usage I have 7-8 tabs on each side, and it actually slows down my work considerably, because I have to search for 2 tabs for each task I'm doing (I'm normally doing at least three different things at once) In my web browser I can easily have 20 tabs without it becoming too much of a hassle. So what's the difference? Today it hit me. What if double commander had "TAB SETS" instead of separate tabs for each pane. 95% I use sets of tabs anyway. I.e, sorting music between music folders in one "tab set" and going through soruce code in another etc. Instead of finding two tabs each time, you would only need one. Half the number of tabs, double the productivity. What do you guys think?
