Summary | 0001990: Erroneous copy in Compare by Contents
Description | Left/right copy ignores the selected text and takes a whole block where cursor is positioned. It copied block into the random place on other side or erases the existing lines on other side without copy.
Steps To Reproduce | For details see https://doublecmd.sourceforge.io/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4305 Execute cm_comparecontents, click "Compare", select something and try left/right copy
Additional Information | I suggest to redesign the logic the same way as Araxis Merge does: copy should prompt, where to copy to -> Prepend/Append/Replace the line on other side. Also, a whole block should be copied only if nothing selected. Otherwise only selected text should be copied to other side. Also, if compare works only with saved data, then "Compare" button itself should be disabled if left or right source is modified and enabled after changes saved and input re-read.
