Summary | 0002338: when renaming a file, the filename will be printed twice in an overlapping way.
Description | Having Double Commander open and listing any type of file in either pane, and then pressing F2 to rename one of the files, the filename will be printed twice, with a small offset. As you change the filename, only one of the printed filenames will change, making it very hard to read what is being typed. Screenshots have been attached showing the bug in action: * dc rename bug - screenshot 1: files in DC as it is started * dc rename bug - screenshot 2: file "Apache License.txt" marked after pressing F2 * dc rename bug - screenshot 3: filename printed twice, with overlap, after pressing left arrow-key * dc rename bug - screenshot 4: filename after deleting a couple of characters using backspace. Considered a major issue as a fundamental functionality, renaming files, is affected.
Steps To Reproduce | * Open Double Commander * Press F2, or click twice if that is configured, on a file * Notice that the filename is now selected and in editable mode * Press right or left arrow on keyboard to move the cursor * Notice that the filename is now printed twice * Change the filename and notice that one if the two printed filenames are changed, but the other stays, making it very difficult to read the name
Additional Information | * This seems to be a Mac only bug, as I've tried 1.0.0 alpha on Win10, where I could not reproduce it. * As far as I can see, this started to happen somewhere after v0.9.3. * I've tried the daily snapshots, and also built it from source on Mac, and can still reproduce the issue * I've tried running different versions after removing all configuration files, but can still reproduce the issue, pointing to this not being a config-issue.
