Summary0002480: creating a new txt file by right click with the same name overwrites existing text file without asking per dialog box
DescriptionWhen i right click in a window of DC the option menu appears. Then i select new and choose a new text file. Then it asks me to choose a name. But when i choose an existing name of an existing text file in that directory that file gets overwritten. This results in loosing accidentally all the information stored in the original text file. No dialog box appears for a warning or to ask for options what should be done.
For a better fork flow with many text files, there should be an automatic checking of existing text files with the same name before overwriting original ones.
Steps To ReproduceThe issue reproduces every time. Right now i checked again and it again happens like described above.
Additional InformationI am using DC Portable Version. An Appimage version of DC would be great. All needed dependencies could be in one place. But i don't think that the portable package format is the reason for the described issue obove. Because when i try to create a new directory per right click and there is already an existing directory with the same name DC warns me about that per dialog box.
