| Description | Strange behavior of horizontal scrollbar in Viewer: when the whole text fits viewing area so that it does not need horizontal scrolling, you cannot drag the slider of this scrollbar, but clicking on the area to the right of this slider makes text being scrolled on the whole width of the viewport, and dragging the slider can not help scroll the text back (but it is possible to scroll the text back symbol by symbol clicking many times on left arrow button on the scrollbar). May be it is reasonable to hide horizontal scrollbar when the text fits window width? This scrollbar can be confusing: it makes you suppose that there is still some text beyond the viewport, and try to scroll it. In TC's Lister even vertical scrollbar is hidden when text does not need it. It would be also very handy if the length of the scrollbar's slider in Viewer indicate the ratio of shown text piece to the whole text, like e. g. in DC's Editor and many other windows. Also there is minor cosmetic flaw, may be not worth separate bugreport: mouse pointer shape over the scrollbar in Viewer is like text cursor instead of the arrow pointer (like in scrollbars of other windows, e. g., DC's Editor). Not a big problem, of course, but can be confusing. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Create text file with not so wide text which fits the size of the viewer window, and does not need scrolling. Open it in the Viewer. Click on the area to the right of the slider in the horizontal scrollbar. Text disappears. Try to drag the slider to the left to bring the text again to the viewing area: no effect. | ||||
