| Description | I'm trying to find the files containing "ABC" and press F3 on one hit then the viewer starts up. Pressing F3 again and again will iterate through the occurrences of the desired string. However, if I use the Find Files window with ticked "Case sensitive" flag then the viewer iterates to all occurrences of "ABC", "Abc", "abc", etc. I think it should use the same case sensitivity setting as the Find Files used. (Silent comment: it would be even better if searching for regexp would also be supported but probably it would require a lot of work.) | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | - copy the attached abc.txt file into a directory called my_dir. It contains many rows with "abc" and some with "ABC" string in them. - navigate into the my_dir directory - press Alt+F7 - let the File Mask be "*" - press Alt+T to allow "Find Text in File" - type into the "Find Text in File" field three capital letters: ABC - press Alt+I (it ticks the Case Sensitive flag on) - press Enter - press Cursor Down on the Results list once top focus the "abc.txt" file - press F3 to open the Viewer - press F3 again and again. It will focus each line, "abc" and "ABC" lines as well, however, only the "ABC" lines would be convenient to focus. Yes, I can set case sensitivity in the Ctrl+F dialog but if I want to find "ABC" in hundred hit files then I have to set it for each of them. | ||||
| Additional Information | I use English localisation but the hotkey combinations maybe different in other localizations. | ||||
