| Description | I get no feedback if I want to copy a file from a 7zip archive into a read-only directory, however, I get a useful and descriptive error message if I copy from a normal directory (not from an archive). | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | - Create a directory under c:\Program Files\x as Administrator (it will be read-only for normal users) - set the left panel of DC to c:\Program Files\x\ - set the right panel to c:\users\desktop.ini (or whatever where there is a file you can read) - try to copy the file from the right panel to the left one with F5. You will get an error message "Cannot create file: c:\Program Files\x\desktop.ini". This is fine, this is the expected behaviour. - Now set the right panel to a 7zip file, for example d:\_Install\doublecmd-0.7.0.r6194.i386-win32.7z - open the compressed file by pressing Enter on it - copy one file from the archive (for example d:\_Install\doublecmd-0.7.0.r6194.i386-win32.7z\doublecmd.zdli) into the write protected c:\Program Files\x\ directory (that is, press F5 and hit Enter) Result: the file is not copied and there is no information about the reason. I think here the same error message should be displayed as the one in case of copying a normal file, not one from an archive. | ||||
