Description | 1. Please change the default font to Segoe UI on initial install. 2. Sorting files by timestamp/Date up/down on a local directory works fine but does not work on Network Drives / Shared folders etc. Simply doesn't do anything. | ||||

2. Works fine for me. Need more info. |

Correct. Sorting by date works fine, regardless of Local/Network drive. What doesn't work is Folder Sorting. Which means only files are sorted not folders. It's just happened to be that the directory I was trying contained only folders. Real life scenario, Mapped drive > Clients > Each client has a folder. So work is always usually done on the recently added or modified folders. So long story short, folders need to be sorted as well (just like Win explorer.exe). Sorry about the confusion. |

1. DC use default Windows font, under Windows 10 it is "Segoe UI". 2. http://doublecmd.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3399&p=18468&hilit=Sorting+directories#p18468 |

1. Nope, I work in a business environment, set it up on 3 pc's. Running Win 10 Enterprise LTSB 64bit. All 3 showed up with very bold CMD like font. I had to google what's the default win font on Explorer.exe (I had no idea about Seoge UI that's when I found out). I can try if this reproduces itself in Win 10 pro or home, but it will be in VM's. 2. Got it, works! |
|
And it wasn't any High DPI situation. Normal 1080p monotirs. On my 4k laptop then the same thing with the font. I just had to change the icon size for it to be usable in this HighDPI case. |

One problem per issue. I suggest it's fonts here. I also see bold "default" size 10 font in Windows 7. Since I had old doublecmd.xml, I deleted it and than I got it again. So, I wouldn't say it uses "Segoe UI" with default settings. |
