Can't reproduce. Probably you didn't run the compare process, by default it's not started automatically. |

It seems not working correctly when "ignore date" is not selected |

Sorry, still can't. Enable the > button in your example, the entry is there since the file in BB has newer date. |

How you can see in the screenshot, the "compare by content" is selected, the 2 files are different in content but with the same size. I expect the comparison to found something. I not expect by checking or unchecking the option "ignore date" to exclude content verifications. I expect from "ignore date" option to hide the same file content but saved at a different timestamp only. |

It actually finds, the problem is that you hid the differences when turned off the > and < buttons. When you have "ignore date" turned on, the files with the same name can be only "equal" or "not equal". When it's turned off, the files that are newer are marked to replace the older ones and therefore are controlled by the arrow button filters. With "by content" and "ignore date" enabled they will be marked unequal only if they have the same date but differ by content.

With > and < buttons I can see files not exist on left and right. I deselect this because I'm interested only on files which exist on both side with the same filename. Is nonsense to hide a file if exist on both side and != or = buttons are selected. You can select both != and = buttons on example provided with "ignore date" unselected and you will see a blank result. The file exist in both side but in not equal and unequal on the same time? The file is gone? |

>>> With > and < buttons I can see files not exist on left and right.
This is only true for "ignore date" on. You misunderstood the logic of the tool a bit. The main idea of the tool isn't to compare directories, but to synchronize them. Under > and < those files are placed that are to be copied into one or another direction. It just happens to coincide with unique files when "ignore date" is on, because it can't suggest in what direction you'll want to move the files and therefore just puts all of them in the != category. |
