>Out of curiosity, why is it necessary? :) I figure I use archives like I'd use directories, a place to put stuff into. Following the analogy, the new directory is empty by default. For me, an archive in this case is a file to archive* things in it: the files belonging there are no longer indispensable but I keep them in the archive just in case, I don't delete them. * redundant |
