| Description | First of all, sorry if it's already discussed, I haven't found any active or closed issue about it. The problem is: copy operation between two folders on the same Samba/Windows share is very slow due to the lack of server-side-copy (FSCTL_SRV_COPYCHUNK) support. (e.g. Total Commander supports this copy method.) As a reference see: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Server-Side_Copy If it's hard to implement, it could be a possible workaround to switch to Windows' copy method when copying between two identical network shares as Windows natively supports this. | ||||

Sorry for late feedback. This function is working perfectly on 1.0.1 build 35 (it was the first build that I was trying this function with after a long time). For me DC is the ultimate TC killer now. :) Thank you very much. |
