Platform | x86_64-Linux-gtk2 | OS | Ubuntu | OS Version | 20.04 |
Product Version | 0.9.9 | Product Build | 2020/06/27
Summary | 0002520: File name for gpg key breaks apt-key
Description | Using the curl script on the download webpage.. curl -fsSL https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:Alexx2000/xUbuntu_20.04/Release.key | gpg --dearmor | sudo tee /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/home:Alexx2000.gpg > /dev/null creates a file /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/Home:Alexx2000.gpg The colon in the file name throws apt-key so that it is not recognised properly and no new keys can be added. Renaming to Alexx2000.gpg fixes the problem and new keys can be added.
Steps To Reproduce | Run the curl script and then try and add a new key -e.g add keys for qgis as per https://qgis.org/en/site/forusers/alldownloads.html#debian-ubuntu

I am not sure, but I think it is OpenSUSE Build Service instruction, not DC: you can try to find and check any other project. |
|
I remembered and looked: SMPlayer https://software.opensuse.org/download.html?project=home%3Asmplayerdev&package=smplayer Pale Moon https://software.opensuse.org/download.html?project=home:stevenpusser&package=palemoon So, this issue cannot be resolved here, i.e. it's OpenSUSE Build Service instruction by default. I see two solutions: - replace or delete colon before launch; - OpenSUSE Build Service has homepage https://build.opensuse.org/ , in the end of page see links: "Reporting a Bug", IRC, Twitter, forum... |
|
Maybe close this issue? As I understood this problem was fixed https://github.com/openSUSE/software-o-o/issues/842 but as I see this fix not uses yet... This is not a DC problem anyway. |
