при ипользовании командной строки DC (а зачем же она еще нужна?) для запуска приложений с SUDO пароль ROOT мало отображается в явном аиде, а кроме того еще и сохраняеися в истории ввода...

I think to do that one should open a terminal, or run command in terminal (Shift+Enter) and sudo will ask for password there. Or run with gksudo.
Whatever you type in command line edit box will be remembered, there is no mode without echo.
