You have obsolete German language file. Don't know how this happen. But current .deb package has correct one https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Alexx2000:/doublecmd-svn/xUbuntu_20.04/all/doublecmd-common_1.0.0~0+svn9773+gitae26f8e75-1_all.deb Try to install this package manually. |

I installed this package, but the same effect. I attached a new doublecmd-2.err file. |

Update: The installation of the deb-package didn't overwrite the language files in usr/lib/doublecmd/language. I copied the files manually from package to this directory. Then the behaviour was correct, no crash. |

I detected, why the installation didn't work: In my usr/lib/doublecmd the subdirectories exist in reality, not as symbolic link to the share-directory. Dlon't know, how this could happen. I removed these directories an installed the package once more, and, which wonder, the installation was correct !!! I wondered why in the debian package the doublecmd executable in usr/lib/doublecmd is missing ?? |
