Summary0001051: Show MessageBox if compared files are identical
DescriptionIt would be better not to show the 'Compare files' dialog when files are identical as it is done now since it may confuse user (if dialog is shown this means that there should be difference between files). Better way is implemented in TotalCommander: if files contents is the same it just shows a MessageBox 'Compare contents'\'The two files are identical!' instead of compare dialog.

Total Commander uses only it's own internal compare program. DC uses not only internal, but also could use any external program for file comparing. Thus, the external program should be able to return information that files are identical.

Timon, yes I know about ability to use external files comparison software. BTW under Linux I'm using external external tool diffuse (http://diffuse.sourceforge.net/) but under Windows I prefer to use internal comparison tool. In this feature request I am talking only about situation when internal comparison tool is used. I understand that not all external tools will return information that files are identical.

Will be glad to have this feature too. It makes usage experience better.

@Timon, TC can use both internal and external diff tool. I have different hotkeys for both, it's useful in some cases.
This feature is for internal tool.
