DescriptionThis feature is present in recent Windows Explorer and Total Commander.
The later one uses elevated instance to perform file operations. On non-Windows machines it could be achieved by using sudo.
Steps To Reproduce1. Run Double Commander as regular user
2. Try to copy any file to C:\Program Files directory on NTFS file system.

Yes, one of the features which still make me use Total Commander on Windows for everyday work.
BTW, internal editor should also have this ability when saving a file
